Constellation of the Artichoke

In this mural, created during Pertestate by children and entertainers guided and helped by volunteers from the Lignano Menti Libere Association, you can admire several elements that might seem distinct from each other, but which in reality are part of a single large whole.

The artichoke, who is the protagonist, symbolizes each of us. In fact, it has hard and thorny bones that represent the masks we create to defend ourselves from others, ma, like the artichoke hides a tender heart, us too, after freeing ourselves from the leaves that cover us, we reveal ourselves and what is good about us to others.

We wanted to unite the artichoke with its flower through the constellations representing the values ​​of life, to symbolize the path we must take to be able to grow internally. The values ​​you find written, are the same as during the Pertestate were associated with the eight participating teams.

The background, created by the hands of children, it is the symbol of the people dear to us, who protect us, they guard us and will always be part of our universe.
