Between the folds of the borders: Meeting with Marco Aime
“Guardandola dal cielo, the Earth is crossed by veins of water, stone wrinkles, green and blue expanses that dissolve into each other. It was human beings who raised walls and made furrows that have nothing to do with the nature of which we are part.”
In a world that shapes thought through social barriers and dogmas that fuel divisions, insinuating oneself between the folds of borders becomes an act of resistance. A profoundly human gesture to return to recognizing oneself in the gaze of the Other.
We are happy to invite you to a special meeting with the anthropologist Marco Aime, an opportunity to reflect together on the nature of diversity and the boundaries that surround us. The meeting will be moderated by the journalist Anna Piuzzi.
The event is part of the project “Migrart: Unroll the border” per GO!25, edited by’Free Menti Association with the support of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. The initiative is carried out in collaboration with the ARCI Club Cervignano aps and the Where do you go to bookstores?.
