“Ricco bottino” alla Cleanin’ March of Lignano: filled almost a hundred more black bags

About eighty volunteers took part in the event and cleaned up a kilometer and a half of the Lignano lagoon promenade

A day full of activities and convivial moments to promote a vision of natural areas open to all where everyone is responsible for their protection. E’ with this aim than last 20 The third edition of “Cleanin’ March”: about thirty volunteers from Lignano and Friuli, but also and above all fifty of the Afghan and Pakistani asylum seekers hosted in Lignano.

Una “marcia di pulitura” svoltasi sulle sponde dell’argine del lungolaguna: Thousands of bottles and plastic and polystyrene residues were found (coming from the fish boxes), but also gas cylinders, televisions, wc, sinks, car and truck tires and batteries. Cleaning was slowed down when three of the asylum seekers found a large revolver in the bushes, the intervention of the police was necessary.

After the morning's efforts the group returned to the park behind the town hall of Lignano for a picnic prepared by the Free Minds. This will be followed by important moments of integration between the community and asylum seekers through games and music: there was a mixed team football match as well as tug of war, all seasoned with music and dances proposed by the asylum seekers.

The afternoon at the park was then enlivened by environmental awareness activities and workshops. In particular thanks to some young people from CeVI (the Udine NGO partner of the initiative) che per l’occasione hanno presentato il “Piccolo Manuale d’Azione per l’Acqua e il Clima”, a collective work of young Italians, moldavi e francesi che si sono attivati per il progetto europeo “Acqua Bene Comune” and who have developed a manual intended for those who want to better understand the role of water in the climate issue, but also discover the exemplary actions promoted locally to protect and enhance the resource. Ha inoltre contribuito alle attività laboratoriali del pomeriggio con materiale e giochi a tema anche un rappresentante del progetto “Oltre il Giardino” di Pordenone, which was a case study of the manual.

The event ended at sunset, also in this edition he succeeded in raising awareness and protecting environmental heritage, proposing moments in which citizens are actors of change and make themselves responsible for it, taking care of the places in a carefree but responsible way. “Cleanin’ March” Lignano: take care of the environment by having fun and learning

It will take place on Sunday 20 Marzo la 3^ edizione della “Cleanin’ March”, the event organized by the Menti Libere association: in the morning the volunteers will be busy cleaning the Lungolaguna Trento embankment and in the afternoon creative environmental awareness workshops for children and teenagers.

Involve and raise awareness in the community about the protection of environmental heritage, proposing moments in which citizens are actors of change and make themselves responsible for it, taking care of the places in a carefree but responsible way: con queste finalità si svolgerà la “Cleanin’ March”. After having cleaned the beach of Punta Faro in 2014 and Sant'Andrea Island last year, next Sunday the volunteers will tackle the Lungolaguna embankment in Lignano, also a victim of the tides of waste.

Every winter, the sea pours tons of waste onto the Lignano coast, released by vessels offshore, transported by the rivers that flow nearby or directly abandoned by those who frequent the beaches. The Menti Libere association created this initiative when it verified that the free beaches were not cleaned like the others.

I will then meet again at 10 in the park behind the municipality of Lignano (Europe avenue) armed with gloves and appropriate clothing: collection bags (differentiated) will be made available by Menti Libere, and then off to clean until lunch time. E’ scheduled for 13.30 about returning to the park for the solidarity picnic all together, and to follow, creative recycling workshops run by volunteers until 18.

“Heart(h)“ – Menti Libere ft ArtPort

Four days of live painting. Four days of concerts, musica, graphics, installations. Quattro giorni che faranno del centro ArtPort di Palazzolo dello Stella – da giovedì 1 see you on Sunday 4 October – the meeting place between the most diverse artistic expressions. This year too, Stella Heart returns to the banks of the river(h), defined by many as one of the most innovative events in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

It returns knowing how to renew itself once again. Because this eighth edition will see the collaboration between the ArtPort association and the Menti Libere association of Lignano Sabbiadoro supported by the Latisana District Area. A collaboration born from a sharing of intentions, from the common desire to raise awareness of the artistic capabilities of the territory and stimulate those who have never yet approached this reality. Menti Libere was the winner of the regional tender on the promotion of active citizenship in young people by organizing various events including Cleanin’ March and the Community Mural in the municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro.

From Thursday 1 October in the exhibition hall of the Artport center it will be possible to admire the work in progress of the works created by the Cactart artists, Caterina Stolfa, Manuel DeMarco, Other and Marta Zanello. Not just painting though. Heart(h) gives space and voice to performances that this year will be linked by a common thread: the theme of water. Thursday, at 21, la serata sarà infatti dedicata al progetto “Acqua bene comune” (Erasmus+) with the screening of short films, the exhibition of the project and good practices by Cevi (IT), Cera (FR), Ormax (MD). Le note e le parole dei “Les briquets Egarès” avvolgeranno il centro ArtPort venerdì 2, at 21, in un connubio con la pittura dal vivo “Ballate per cuori autistici”. Music Saturday, at 22, with the concert of The Young Tree and Maurizio Zilli Dj Set. Sunday, at 17, it will be the day of the inauguration of the exhibition of the works created in this four-day event with the concert of the North East Ska Jazz Orchestra followed by the FunkyGiallo DJ Set. Since Sunday morning, starting from 11 artistic music experimentation stations will be located outside the ArtPort center, painting, creative writing, natural cuisine and holistic disciplines (tui na, plantar reflexology, shiatsu) grazie alla collaborazione del Centro olistico regionale e dell’associazione “Insieme per la musica” di Lignano Sabbiadoro.

A synergy, so, the one born between the ArtPort and Menti Libere associations which aims to promote art in all its forms, through the active involvement of local young people and artists from our region. An opportunity for comparison, of growth, an opportunity to look beyond the horizon that we are used to looking at every day.
