Was wir im Senou-Lager auf die Beine gestellt haben, war wunderbar.

Non ci sono parole che possano descrivere le emozioni che l’arte, soprattutto in situazioni di emergenza, riesce a scatenare.

I giochi sono stati decorati ed inaugurati alla grande con un fantastico concerto meticcio simbolo di dialogo tra culture.

E poi grazie ad altri fenomenali artisti abbiamo realizzato una poltrona “ad albero” per i saggi ed i vecchi del villaggio e per le loro storie.

Potranno così avere un luogo dedicato a ciò che è uno degli aspetti fondamentali della cultura di ogni etnia africana, la tradizione orale.

E così il griot Ibrahim ha inaugurato la poltrona con una storia, la prima di tante.

Grazie ancora a tutti quelli che hanno reso possibile tutto ciò !

What we made happen at the camp was wonderful !

There are no specific words which could allow us to describe how art can relief and connect people in emergency conditions.

The swinging toys have been decorated and inaugurated by an amazing multicultural concert.

Then we realized a tree chair thought for the wise men and their storytelling thanks to a group of three great artists.

The people living here will finally have a special place for the fundamental aspect of many ethnies culture in Africa, the oral tradition.

Thus the griot Ibrahim concluded the joyful event by telling the first of a longlasting series of stories.
