He is Amadou, a Malian friend. It comes from the Mopti region, in Central Mali, and is of Dogon ethnicity.

E’ precisely in that region that the conflict between Dogon and Fulani exploded.

In the meantime he lives in his kingdom, which is more a recreational circle than a coiffure.

Every time I spend from there I stop time to chat, Drinking Chinese bitter tea, do not understand anything about the language that speak, LAUGH.

This is also Bamako.

He’s Amadou, a malian friend.

He comes from the Central Region called Mopti and he belongs to the Dogon ethnic group.

Is there that the interethnic war between Dogon and Fulani has been blasting entire villages.

In the meanwhile he’s living in his realm which Is more a cultural club than a coiffure.

Everytime I pass by I use to spend some time chatting, having chinese bitter tea, understanding nothing about their language and having laughs.

This Is Bamako as well.

I don't have time to understand where I find that Bamako welcomes me vorticily.

The people I meet on the street accompany me to discover their daily lives.

The first tea (Chinese) And the first eaten rice with onion soup in the large collective basin officially welcome me.

In all this wonder I try a certain anger to see such a multitude of young people slender towards progress but blocked by the geopolitical and mineral interests that bring this immense country to their knees.

A country that until a few years ago saw itself crossing far and wide by tourists and who now cannot guarantee the safety of his people.

But as it almost always happens, who has less is who gives more.

I’ve not even had the time to get aware of the place where I am that Bamako wildly hugs me.

The people I meet on the street guide me to the discover of their daily Life.

The first (chinese) tea and the first shared Rice and onion soup pot officially welcome me.

Among this amazing experience I feel a bit angry by watching bunches of eager youngsters stuck in difficoult conditions due to the geopolitical and mineral interests which deprives this huge country.

A country that had been crossed by tourists until a few years ago and now it can’t even put in safety its people.

But as often happens the less you have and the more you give.

I will dance, Palermo.

He is Massimo, Senegalese boy in Italy for five years now. Parla cinque lingue e lavora come interprete in un centro d’accoglienza.

Non è ancora mai riuscito a tornare a trovare la sua famiglia a Tambacounda, a sud del Senegal.

Mi ha lasciato due zaini di scuola da portare alle sue nipotine.

He’s Massimo, a guy from Senegal Who has been living in Italy for five years now. He fluently speaks 5 languages and he works as a translator in a refugee centre.

He has not suceeded to go back to visit his family yet in Tambacounda, South Senegal.

He gave me two schoolbags to bring to his young nieces.
