È questa la sfida di Coastal Design\, il progetto dell’associazione Menti Libere – realizzato con il sostegno della Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia\, in collaborazione con Legambiente Fvg\, Consorzio SpiaggiaViva\, Circolo Cas’Aupa\, The(Serre e Accademia Tiepolo Udine – che porta sulle spiagge dell’Alto Adriatico una nuova idea di sostenibilità: trasformare gli scarti del turismo balneare in oggetti di design\, through creativity and upcycling. The project will reach its final moment on Saturday 30 agosto\, give her 18\, alle foci del fiume Tagliamento\, al Bar Sunriver\, near the X-River boat launch in Lignano Riviera (Adriatic Avenue). \nIL PROGETTO – Dopo mesi di raccolta dei materiali lungo la riviera friulana\, un percorso di formazione dedicato al riuso creativo e una collaborazione con imprese artigianali e commerciali del territorio\, the time has finally come to reveal the result of the project to the public. The protagonists of the initiative are the four young under artists 35 – Carlotta Casalone\, Maria Paola Fogliato\, Michela Longone e Anna Martinatti – che nei mesi scorsi sono state selezionate attraverso una open call nazionale lanciata sempre da Menti Libere. A partire da materiali che normalmente finiscono tra i rifiuti\, come sacchetti per la cottura sottovuoto\, polistirolo\, hard plastics and fishing nets (just to name a few)\, the artists have given life to some of the most iconic objects of the seaside holiday: sdraio\, lettini\, umbrellas and accessories. The result is a collection that overturns perspective: ciò che il turismo di massa lascia dietro di sé\, come scarto\, it becomes raw material for imagining a new way of experiencing the beach. \nIL PARTY – La serata si aprirà con il release party\, the moment in which the furniture collection will be presented to the public for the first time.
