Friends from Udine!

Monday 16 December we will be at Spazio35 in Udine from 18:00 per immergerci nel mondo dell’Ammophila Arenaria e portare un po’ di mare in città 🌊 in compagnia dell’artista Laura Pugno

The Adriatic coast is slowly disappearing and nature is helping us not to lose it.

A rebellious plant grows on the sandy shores of our coast, che non si comporta come le altre piante e vanta l’appellativo di “ingegnere delle dune” per la sua abilità di costruttrice di dune: the Ammophila Arenaria.

🐚 Il workshop INGEGNERA DELLE DUNE ci permetterà di approfondire il legame tra terra e mare, processing coded messages inspired by the ancient maritime communication system: l’alfabeto semaforico 🎌

The actions will be guided by the artist by putting the drawing into dialogue, writing and some natural materials taken from the Adriatic coast.

To accompany us in this exploration, the words of Tiziano Scarpa, who dedicated a story to the dune engineer.
