Cleanin’ March sbarca sull’isola di Sant’Andrea
The great environmental cleaning event in the Marano Lagoon returns with its seventh edition. The appointment will be limited in number and anticipated by two initiatives on 9 and the 10 March in Lignano
Strengthened by the success of 2019 – with approx 400 participants – and the urgency that climate change places before everyone, the guys from the Free Minds Association of Lignano Sabbiadoro are preparing a new and surprising edition of Cleanin'March: the participatory environmental cleaning event arrived, In the 2023, alla sua settima edizione.
IL 26 MARCH ON THE ISLAND OF SANT'ANDREA – This year the event will be held on 26 March to the island of Sant'Andrea, in the lagoon of Marano, already chosen place in the second edition of the initiative. Cleanin’ March sarà la tappa conclusiva di MigrArt, artistic-cultural project supported by the Autonomous Region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, in collaboration with the Municipalities of Marano Lagunare, Lignano Sabbiadoro and Mortegliano, as well as the numerous partner associations such as Legambiente, Altrememorie Association, Circolo ARCI Cervignano, Friends of the Hospital, l’I.S.I.S. “Mattei” di Latisana e Cas’Aupa.
THE PROGRAM OF THE DAY – The first boats will leave from the beach adjacent to the Faro Rosso in Lignano at 9. The collection of waste that every year the tides bring to Sant'Andrea is over, as usual, the day's program includes plenty of room for fun (obviously responsible!) immersed in a unique landscape. At the end of lunch, that each participant will bring from home, live music is in fact provided, but also laboratory activities, thanks to the collaboration with Cas'Aupa and in particular with the "Plastic Hands" project, which makes creative recycling its mission. For the occasion it will also be possible to admire some Land Art works that will enrich the island landscape. The installations, made by some artists and artists invited by Free Minds, they will all be perishable.
ENROLLMENTS WITH CLOSED NUMBER – In order to keep the environmental impact as low as possible, the organizers have decided that the event will be limited in number. Registrations must be made by calling 348.0292862 or by sending an email to info@mentilibere.org. Each participant will have to pay a fee 20 euro con la quale saranno coperti i costi del trasporto e gli oneri assicurativi.
Under 18s and over 70s will pay 5 euro.
